Turmoil at Northern Express

According to a post on the team website dated September 19, 2012, Hockey Director Mike Silenzi has resigned.  Also of note, Jimmy Wright is relinquishing his 6 year hold on the Presidency but will remain on the Board.

The leadership at the Express has been under fire recently for players defecting to nearby programs, which caused the number of teams fielded to be cut in half from last year.  The recent collapse of the Midget program most likely contributed to precipitating the leadership change.  We wish the Express the best in rebuilding their program!
