The Chicago Blues announced that three former players are headed to the NHL draft in June. D-men Robbie Russo and Frankie Simonelli and goalie Garret Sparks all played a portion of their youth hockey careers at the Blues and were coached by Stan Luberda and/or Todd Finner.
Robbie Russo is currently playing for the National Development Program and is headed to Notre Dame. Frankie Simonelli plays for the Wisconsin Badgers. Garret Sparks plays in the "O" with the Guelph Storm. Good luck to all three in the draft! Visit the Blues website for more information.
