Looking over the results of the 2010 Chicago Thanksgiving Classic Tournament, many of the local clubs were left with post-Thanksgiving dinner indigestion. The Kalamazoo K-Wings took three banners home with them as they headed back to Michigan - Squirt B, PeeWee A, and PeeWee AA. Two of those wins came over Chicago area clubs (Naperville Sabres at Squirt B, Northwest Chargers at PeeWee AA).
Likewise, the invaders from north of the 48 took home linen at Bantam B, Bantam A, Bantam Minor, Bantam Gold, Midget Minor/JV, Midget Major/HS Blue, and Midget Major/HS Red divisions. Only the Huskies and Bruins prevented clean sweeps of the Bantam and Midget levels respectively.
There were a few teams that got to enjoy an extra slice of pumpkin pie ... the Redwings at Mite AA, the Leafs at Squirt A, the Hawks at Squirt AA, and the St. Jude Knights at PeeWee B. Way to go guys!
