One thing sorely lacking in the coverage of youth hockey is a repository of reviews by parents and players. If you wanted to buy a book, you would go to Amazon.com and check out what other people had to say about it. If you wanted private lessons for your little hockey player, you would pick up a flier or ask some parents hanging around at the rink ... just like they did in the 70s.
A fellow blogger hopes to bring us into the modern era:
Youth Hockey Review is written by Rich Taylor, a hockey parent and coach. He brings us his take on a couple of Introduction to Hockey programs (more commonly known as "Intro" at the rink) - Let's Play Hockey and Rocky Hockey. This is some great stuff for parents who are getting dragged to the rink for the first time! There are also reviews of two clinics and a tournament for more advanced players.
In addition, Rich reviews a book, training DVDs, and provides a series of instructional posts. I recommend that you visit Youth Hockey Review to look around. While you are at it, submit a review of your own!

Chris, thanks so much for your support and kind words. The hockey community is a close knit group, hope we can all share and learn from each other.
