AA and House Fees 2010 - South and Southwest

My first project for the blog is to consolidate fees for the majority of the Chicago area clubs into a database.  I chose to start off with the south and southwest suburban clubs, most of which are covered by the South Suburban Hockey League (SSHL).  The following table illustrates fees for the 2010-11 season.

A couple of notes on the table.  First, any league members outside the immediate Chicago area, or the State, are excluded.  Second, the table may be missing some information but is as complete as I can make it.  For example, I do not know the uniform charges for most clubs but many have them.  If you have some information that will help complete the table, please post it in the comments.  Next, I have endeavored to make the prices as comparable as possible.  Discounts for early registration are excluded for this reason.  The highest fee is presented for tryouts and conditioning for those clubs that vary the fee according to the age group.  There is considerable variation in the various ADM/minor mite programs.  As always, your mileage may vary.  Finally, you must investigate what is included in the fee in order to evaluate the overall value you will receive from a given club.  This may be a topic for another blog.

Club specific notes:  St Jude does not set their fees until they know how many teams they have signed up.  I will endeavor to obtain this information as soon as it is available.  The Chicago Hawks left the SSHL this year to join the NWHL.  Homewood Flossmoor Vikings are excluded at this time due to a lack of fees on their website.

Next up:  western and northwestern suburbs covered by the North West Hockey League (NWHL).
