In Today's Post--Coach Lubanski Gives Players Tips For The Day Of TRYOUTS
By Paul Lubanski
Be First In Everything, Except ...
Be first to arrive at the rink
Go to the front of the line because it shows confidence and initiative
Work harder than everyone else in every drill or scrimmage
Be the last person off the ice
At The Rink
Seek out the coach first thing, explain why you are interested in making the squad
Thank the coaches when leaving the rink, remind them of your interest
On The Ice
Find a tryout 'buddy' and make a pact to pass to each other
Be attentive - listen to coaches' instructions and ask questions when you don't understand
Final Word
Play with C.E.H.P.
Confidence Energy Hustle Pride
Make this your motto for the week!
